ince the Aboyne Games inception in 1867 only the 2 World Wars have prevented us from gathering on the Green in August. 2 years of global pandemic changed that & although we made our best efforts, the Aboyne Games of 2020 & 2021 were not to be. We have missed all that the Games brings to the community and I certainly, keenly anticipate more than ever, being on the Green for games day in 2022. It is a great pleasure to stand in for my father this year as your Chieftain and I would like to wish you all a warm welcome.
