As we countdown to kickoff for Super Bowl LVIII, fire-up the oven and pop in some scrumptious and savory Irish Chicken Wings.

Ingredients
2kgs chicken wings
1 onion
1 carrot
4 glasses of Guinness
2 garlic cloves
2 cloves
thyme
salt
black pepper
oil

Instructions
Slice the onion and garlic and sauté in a little oil in a large frying pan. Once cooked, set aside. Add the chicken wings to the pan, and brown them on both sides. Then add the cooked onion and garlic. Add the chopped carrot, 1 teaspoon thyme, cloves, salt and pepper. Pour in the Guinness and bring to the boil, stirring regularly. Then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Reduce the sauce by half. Place the chicken wings on a baking tray and brush with the remaining sauce. In your oven, on grill mode, grill for 7 minutes on each side, basting regularly with sauce. Serve hot with French fries.

Enjoy the game!
