There is a hint of Galicia in all my collections – its scenery, its way of life; it is part of my work.
I was always sure that I wanted to work in fashion. It is something that I have seen at home since I was born, and it has always been something that has generated special affection and feelings for me.
The best thing about working in fashion is the ability to improve and test yourself season after season. That self-improvement, and not falling into a routine, is precisely what I like most about fashion; its ephemeral and volatile nature requires you to be in an ongoing search for beauty.
It doesn’t matter how talented or tasteful you are, working in fashion requires constant effort. This is the only thing that allows you to set yourself up in the fashion industry in a mature and real way, but of course you need to have both things – talent and effort.
