George Balderose might be the busiest piper in North America. Along with a steady stream of gigs and recordings, he founded and continues to instruct and serve as Director of the Balmoral Schools of Highland Piping, a non-profit corporation that produces piping instructional sessions at four or five universities across the USA each summer. His latest initiative is the Balmoral Collection of Hymns Arranged for the Highland Bagpipe. Recently Celtic Life International spoke with Balderose from his office in Pittsburgh, PA.
